All our safaris are conducted in a comfortable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. The ultimate vehicle for game drives in Tanzania. The elevated seating and open roof offer excellent visibility for wildlife spotting and photography. The safari jeep comes with a professional driver-guide, fresh drinking water and charging points.

Day 1

Welcome to Tanzania

Karibu Tanzania! When you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal driver-guide will be waiting to greet you. During the short transfer to Arusha you’ll get your first glimpse of Tanzania – from bustling roadside markets to the silhouette of Mount Meru in the distance.

At your boutique lodge you can unwind in the garden, take a swim, or simply relax after your flight. Tomorrow your safari adventure awaits you!

Optional city tour:
Discover Arusha with a local guide who will show you the city’s most interesting sights and everyday life up close. During this walking tour, you’ll visit the central market, where colorful stalls overflow with tropical fruits, spices, and handcrafted goods. You’ll also pass by local shops, street cafés, and cultural landmarks, gaining insight into the rhythm and warmth of Tanzanian city life.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Ready for your second safari day? Your guide will collect you from the hotel and take you to Tarangire National Park. The drive to Tarangire National Park will
take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way.

If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll
probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Our guide will take you off the beaten track and he will share stories about the park and its wildlife, explaining more about the natural world around you.

At lunch time you will head to the picnic site for lunch. As you enjoy your meal, you might spot herds of elephants roaming nearby. The sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the wind will add to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the moment.

At the end of the day we head to the beautiful Heart & Soul Lodge.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Today you drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but incredibly diverse reserve at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment. In the forested entrance you’ll find troops of baboons and playful blue monkeys, while further on the open plains stretch out towards the shimmering alkaline lake. Here, wildebeest, zebras, and—season permitting—thousands of flamingos bring the landscape to life.

Are you looking for a unique and immersive way to experience the natural beauty of Tanzania's Lake Manyara National Park? Our walking safari is the perfect option for those who want to get up close and personal with the park's incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

At the end of our day, we'll head to our next lodge for dinner and overnight stay. You can relax on the terrace or take a dip in the pool, savoring the beauty and tranquility of the African wilderness.

Day 4

Lake Eyasi – A Day with Tanzania’s Oldest Tribes

Today you get a chance to discover the fascinating world of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, two of the oldest and most traditional tribes in Tanzania. Lake Eyasi is home to these unique communities, and a visit to their villages is a chance to witness their daily lives and customs.

Your experienced guide will take you on a journey of discovery, as you meet the Hadzabe people and learn about their hunting and gathering techniques, including how they use bows and arrows to hunt wild animals. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in some of their daily activities, such as gathering roots and fruits, and making fire using traditional methods.

Next, you'll visit the Datoga tribe, known for their metalworking skills and their beautiful beadwork. You'll learn about their culture and their unique way of life, as well as their traditional beliefs and practices.

Day 5 & 6

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you travel to Serengeti National Park, passing through the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before driving onto the endless plains of the Serengeti.

The Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations. In the afternoon we'll explore the vast plains in search of the Big Five and other animals like cheetahs, hyenas, and zebras. The Serengeti’s scenery is also unforgettable – observe Africa’s iconic acacia trees, the park’s golden grasslands and great piles of boulders known as kopjes.

Your guide adapts the day to your preferences: a long drive across the plains or a slower rhythm, observing behavior at waterholes and kopjes. Lunch is a picnic in the bush, surrounded by views of the savannah.
As the sun begins to set over the African savannah, it's time to head back to your lodge after a thrilling day of safari adventures. But the experience isn't over yet - the journey back to your lodge can be just as exciting as the game drives themselves. As your vehicle makes its way through the park, you might catch glimpses of wildlife that are more active in the evening hours, such as hyenas or nocturnal birds.

Day 5 – Full Day Safari in Serengeti
Wake up early to the calls of birds and the first rays of sunlight. Today you enjoy a full day of safari in the Serengeti, giving you the best chance to spot its incredible wildlife. Your guide will choose routes based on animal movements and your interests. In the afternoon, you continue exploring different habitats – from open grassland to rocky kopjes where leopards sometimes hide. At sunset, return to camp, where a campfire and dinner under the stars await.

Early Morning

There are no better views in Tanzania than the ones you'll enjoy on your dawn balloon ride over the Serengeti. Viewing the scenery and wildlife from above is an amazing experience.

Day 7

Serengeti -> Ngorongoro

Today we wake up early and start the day with a beautiful sunrise game drive. There's something truly magical about experiencing the African wilderness at sunrise, and a sunrise game drive is one of the best ways to do so. The early morning is an incredible time to spot some of the park's most elusive and active wildlife, including lions, leopards, and hyenas. The cooler temperatures and softer
light create the perfect conditions for a memorable safari adventure, as you journey through the park's vast savannahs and grasslands. During the morning game drive we slowly head back to the gate where we arrive around lunch time.

In the afternoon, it will be time to head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most stunning and unique parks in Tanzania. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery.

At Ngorongoro Wild Camp you're a short drive from Ngorongoro Crater but nicely removed from the busy crater rim area. Accommodation is in elevated safari tents or cottages, and the camp has a swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant. Animals, including giraffes, often wander through camp, and the service here is friendly.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

Today you descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable safari locations. Formed millions of years ago by a collapsed volcano, the crater is now home to a dense concentration of wildlife in a spectacular setting.

As you drive across the crater floor, you’ll encounter a wide variety of animals – from grazing zebras and wildebeest to elephants and buffalo. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino, one of the rarest species in East Africa. Hippos can often be seen wallowing in the water, while lions rest in the grasslands nearby.

The crater’s enclosed nature makes it a natural amphitheater for wildlife viewing, with dramatic scenery at every turn. Your guide will explain the unique ecology of this area and point out fascinating animal behaviors. After a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater, you continue your exploration before returning to Arusha in the afternoon.

Your guide can drop you off at Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport for your flight or we can book an extra night for your in Arusha and transfer you the next day.
