Tarangire National Park
Ready for your second safari day? Your guide will collect you from the hotel and take you to Tarangire National Park. The drive to Tarangire National Park will
take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way. If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll
probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Our guide will take you off the beaten track and he will share stories about the park and its wildlife, explaining more about the natural world around you. At lunch time you will head to the picnic site for lunch. As you enjoy your meal, you might spot herds of elephants roaming nearby. The sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the wind will add to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the moment. At the end of the day we head to the beautiful Heart & Soul Lodge.

Today we will visit Lake Manyara. Where the plains of northern Tanzania meet the Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a wonderful place to spend a safari day. Your highlights for the day might include getting up-close-and-personal with the elephants that made this park famous, lots of baboons, as well as one of few lion populations in Africa that spend much of their time in the trees. Today you get a chance to discover the fascinating world of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, two of the oldest and most traditional tribes in Tanzania. Lake Eyasi is home to these unique communities, and a visit to their villages is a chance to witness their daily lives and customs. Your experienced guide will take you on a journey of discovery, as you meet the Hadzabe people and learn about their hunting and gathering techniques, including how they use bows and arrows to hunt wild animals. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in some of their daily activities, such as gathering roots and fruits, and making fire using traditional methods. Next, you'll visit the Datoga tribe, known for their metalworking skills and their beautiful beadwork. You'll learn about their culture and their unique way of life, as well as their traditional beliefs and practices.

We'll depart after breakfast and head towards Serengeti National Park,where we will arrive around lunch time. The Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations. We'll explore the vast plains in search of the Big Five and other animals like cheetahs, hyenas, and zebras. The Serengeti’s scenery is also unforgettable – observe Africa’s iconic acacia trees, the park’s golden grasslands and great piles of boulders known as kopjes. As the sun begins to set over the African savannah, it's time to head back to your lodge after a thrilling day ofsafari adventures. But the experience isn't over yet - the journey back to your lodge can be just as exciting as the game drives themselves. As your vehicle makes its way through the park, you might catch glimpses of wildlife that are more active in the evening hours, such as hyenas or nocturnal birds. During the morning game drive we slowly head back to the gate where we arrive around lunch time. In the afternoon, it will be time to head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most stunning and unique parks in Tanzania. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a particularly special location for a game drive due to its enclosed nature. Surrounded by towering walls, the crater forms a natural amphitheater that makes it easy to spot a wide range of wildlife. You'll travel through lush forests and open savannahs, taking in breathtaking views of the crater floor and its many inhabitants. In the afternoon you guide will drive out of the crater and take you back to Arusha or to the airport. Ít is time to say goodbye to your guide with whom have you spend some wondeful safari days.
