Karibu Tanzania! Today our guide will collect you after breakfast from your hotel in or around Arusha to start your safari. He will brief you about the safari, the schedule and what to expect. Te drive to Arusha National Park will take around 45 minutes up to 1 hour.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Ready for your second safari day? Your guide will collect you from the hotel and take you to Tarangire National Park. The drive to Tarangire National Park will
take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way.

If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll
probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Our guide will take you off the beaten track and he will share stories about the park and its wildlife, explaning more about the natural world around you.

At lunch time you will head to the picnic site for lunch. As you enjoy your meal, you might spot herds of elephants roaming nearby. The sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the wind will add to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the moment.

At the end of the day we head to Heart & Soul Lodge. Enjoy the amazing view!

Day 3

Mto wa Mbu

It’s time to be active today and to see a bit more culture. We start early in the morning with a short hike on the Great Rift Valley wall. Make sure you wear good hiking shoes, the walk will be a bit steep and rocky. Once you are on top you will enjoy the amazing panoramic view of Lake Manyara and Mto Wa Mbu. You’ll be surprised by all the green colours! After a few minutes rest we will walk down to the place where the bikes are waiting for us. The bike tour will take you through the village, you pass by local craft shops and you will have lunch between the banana plantations. Lots of choice between all kinds of local dishes! In the afternoon we go back to Heart & Soul Lodge.

Day 4

Lake Natron

Welcome to Lake Natron, one of Tanzania's most beautiful and unique destinations! Join us on a waterfalls tour and lake walk to discover the stunning natural beauty of this incredible area.

Our tour will take you to the stunning Engare Sero Waterfalls, where you can witness the power and beauty of cascading water. The falls are surrounded by lush vegetation, and the cool misty air provides a refreshing break from the hot African sun. You'll have the opportunity to explore the falls and take some truly amazing photos.

Next, we'll take a walk along the shores of Lake Natron, a shallow salt lake that is home to a variety of unique and fascinating wildlife. Our experienced guides will show you the lake's famous flamingos and explain the lake's fascinating geological history.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park

We'll depart after breakfast and head towards Serengeti National Park,where we will arrive around lunch time. The Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations. We'll explore the vast plains in search of the Big Five and other animals like cheetahs, hyenas, and zebras. The Serengeti’s scenery is also unforgettable – observe Africa’s iconic acacia trees, the park’s golden grasslands and great piles of boulders known as kopjes.

As the sun begins to set over the African savannah, it's time to head back to your lodge after a thrilling day ofsafari adventures. But the experience isn't over yet - the journey back to your lodge can be just as exciting as the game drives themselves. As your vehicle makes its way through the park, you might catch glimpses of wildlife that are more active in the evening hours, such as hyenas or nocturnal birds. The changing colors of the sky and the warm glow of the setting sun add to the magic of the moment

You're in one of the best wildlife areas of the park, but a little removed from the main trails, so you're not sharing each wildlife sighting with too many other vehicles. Driving through Serengeti is a journey through a vast and diverse landscape that showcases the incredible beauty of this region of Tanzania. Each route you take in Central Serengeti is a scenic one, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the incredible views. Along the way, you'll pass through rugged terrain and open savannahs, with rolling hills and towering rocky outcrops providing a dramatic backdrop.

Day 7

Serengeti -> Ngorongoro

Today we wake up early and start the day with a beautiful sunrise game drive. There's something truly magical about experiencing the African wilderness at sunrise, and a sunrise game drive is one of the best ways to do so. The early morning is an incredible time to spot some of the park's most elusive and active wildlife, including lions, leopards, and hyenas. The cooler temperatures and softer light create the perfect conditions for a memorable safari adventure, as you journey through the park's vast savannahs and grasslands. During the morning game drive we slowly head back to the gate where we arrive around lunch time.

In the afternoon, it will be time to head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most stunning and unique parks in Tanzania. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

A game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight of any safari adventure in Tanzania. This unique natural wonder is home to an incredible array of wildlife, from herds of grazing antelope to majestic lions and towering elephants. As you journey through the crater on a game drive, you'll have the chance to spot some of the park's most iconic species, including black rhinoceros, hippos, and wildebeest.

Your experienced guide will share insights into the ecology of the region, as well as stories and facts about the fascinating behaviors of the park's many species.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a particularly special location for a game drive due to its enclosed nature. Surrounded by towering walls, the crater forms a natural amphitheater that makes it easy to spot a wide range of wildlife. You'll travel through lush forests and open savannahs, taking in breathtaking views of the crater floor and its many inhabitants.

In the afternoon we head to Lake Eyasi where your next adventure awaits us.

Day 9

Lake Eyasi

Today you get a chance to discover the fascinating world of the Hadzabe
and Datoga tribes, two of the oldest and most traditional tribes in Tanzania. Lake Eyasi is home to these unique communities, and a visit to their villages is a chance to witness their daily lives and customs.

Your experienced guide will take you on a journey of discovery, as you meet the Hadzabe people and learn about their hunting and gathering techniques, including how they use bows and arrows to hunt wild animals. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in some of their daily activities, such as gathering roots and fruits, and making fire using traditional methods.

Next, you'll visit the Datoga tribe, known for their metalworking skills and their beautiful beadwork. You'll learn about their culture and their unique way of life, as well as their traditional beliefs and practices.

Lake Manyara National Park

Our last safari adventure! Where the plains of northern Tanzania meet the Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a wonderful place to spend a safari day. Your highlights for the day might include getting up-close-and-personal with the elephants that made this park famous, lots of baboons, as well as one of few lion populations in Africa that spend much of their time in the trees. Between the forests at the foot of the escarpment and the lake that gives the park its name, enjoy rich birdlife and the chance of seeing predator ambush their prey.
